Hello and Welcome to Endeavor - Highlighting the Happenings of Garden Spot Village.

It’s September which is like a runway to festivals and the holidays. There are so many opportunities to get involved  you need to pick and choose the things that are meaningful to you. When you live here there are even more possibilities for example Garden Spot Village is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary in September with and entire week of special events.

We are out in the Legacy Garden. This is one of those really magnificent spaces on campus that gets used by people for a wide variety of events and social situations. On September 24th we’ll be hosting the Eastern Lancaster County Social Services Network fundraising event entitled the Garden Gala. There will be serving stations throughout the garden that include Kobe sliders, seafood cakes and freshly prepared sushi. It will be an exclusive and unique event. There are only 200 tickets available. In support of all good work that ESSN does in the area the tickets are $100 per person. I can promise you the event will be well worth it and your contribution will help a very worthy cause. Visit the event page on our website for the details and to get your tickets.

Look & Learn luncheons pick up again in September as well as another Future Resident Event. Rick Rogers Associates an outstanding financial planning firm will be conducting a seminar entitled “Reducing Your Tax Burden.”  Seating is limited so sign up today. Visit the Look & Learn page of our website to register.
Another Signature Dining Event is planned for September 7th – a clam bake featuring hush puppies, grilled corn, shrimp, clams and lobster tail finishing with a roasted pumpkin caramel and toffee crunch parfait topped with homemade butternut gelato!  Wow – dining services just knocks it out of the park. Details are on the event page.
Extreme Grand-parenting  a new series sponsored by the Community Church at Garden Spot Village includes 2 session in September. One on the 12th – “Putting the Grand in Parenting” and another on the 26th focused on “Giving the Blessing”. There is no charge and they are open to the public. See the Garden Variety for details.
