Garden Spot Village Hosts Free Seminar on Legal Issues

Attorney Brian Black to speak on estates, power of attorney and other matters

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. —Apr. 22, 2009 — Brian Black, J.D., of Gibbel Kraybill & Hess LLP, will present “Legal Matters: Power of Attorney, Estates, HIPAA and More” at a meeting of the Parents with Special Cares Support Group on Tues., May 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Village Square Board Room at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. The program is free and open to the public.

“Brian Black is a highly respected elder lawyer in Lancaster County,” said Karen Horning, director of social services at Garden Spot Village. “Attendees should bring their questions about elder law, estate planning and other topics of concern.”

Parents with Special Cares is an educational group for individuals who have adult children or grandchildren with mental, learning, emotional and/or physical health conditions. Group members learn and share from professionals and individuals with similar life experiences. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. Membership is open to the community and new members are welcome.
