Garden Spot Village To Host Temple Avenue Jazz

Having Temple Avenue Jazz as the next performance in our Saturday Evening Concert series is certain to be a treat. Public is invited to concert on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m.

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — Jan. 13, 2016 — The public is invited to Garden Spot Village to enjoy a performance by Temple Avenue Jazz on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m.

“Having Temple Avenue Jazz as the next performance in our Saturday Evening Concert series is certain to be a treat, and we’d love for the community to come for another fun show,” said Colleen Musselman, director of life enrichment at Garden Spot Village.

Temple Avenue Jazz, a quintet, consists of saxophonist Seth Ebersole, pianist Colin Mekeel, bassist Jack Synoski, and drummer Austin Wagner, with Chelsea Reed providing vocals. Blending youthful spirit with the standard traditions of music, their performances of swing, bebop and blues have been enjoyed around Lancaster County.
Students of music, they put on a vibrant show packed with energy and creative solos.

Other upcoming concerts in the Saturday Evening Concert Series at Garden Spot Village include a bagpipe performance by Thomas McConnell & Family on March 19 and Portal Percussion on April 16.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. in the chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland. The concerts are free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door.
