Rep. Denlinger Presents Citation Recognizing Centenarians at Garden Spot Village

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. — Nov. 23, 2009 — Rep. Gordon Denlinger, of the 99th Legislative District, today presented citations recognizing the 100th birthdays of two residents at Garden Spot Village, Anna Snader Harsh and Elizabeth Sauder Martin.
Elizabeth Sauder Martin, a resident of Garden Spot Village, turned 100 on Oct. 31. She has seven children, 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She has a strong interest in genealogy and in the last few years she has published two books on her family’s history.
Anna Snader Harsh turned 100 on Nov. 2. She was a schoolteacher in Lancaster County for more than 40 years. She enjoys cooking, Bingo and outings to Lapp’s Dairy Farm and Lancaster Barnstormers games.
