First thing Wednesday morning following the ground breaking the construction fences went up and the bull dozers rolled in.

Ground breaking for the new Village Square Apartments took place today and well over 100 people participated. Following the ground breaking ceremony the people who have reserved a Village Square Apartment joined a number of Garden Spot Village residents for a picnic in the pavilion with cheeseburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings. The weather was absolutely fabulous and a grand time was had by all.
