Hello and Welcome to Endeavor – a monthly video update where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community at Garden Spot Village.

I’m Scott Miller, the Chief Marketing Officer at Garden Spot Communities. Thank you for joining us.

All of us at Garden Spot Village hope that you and your family are safe and well. There is a button on the home page of the Garden Spot Village website where we post updates as it relates to the current situation. As you know we do our best to be welcoming, open and inviting. It’s those things that people love about Garden Spot Village, that sense of on-campus community as well as significant involvement in the community beyond the campus. In times like this we need to be cautious for everyone’s health and safety. We hope to be back to normal soon.

Our restaurants are providing pick-up and delivery service but a lot of people still enjoy cooking. Earlier this week Shady Maple started to accept online orders for delivery. Those deliveries are dropped off at Village Square and resident volunteers jump in to deliver the orders to people’s door steps. That’s community—neighbors watching out for neighbors.

Technology provides a lot of opportunity and I spent 23 years in the technology industry so about 10 years ago when webinars started to become a thing on personal computers we did some downsizing webinars and other informational sessions. At that time the technology didn’t work very well. Things have changed a lot of the last 10 years and we’re exploring the possibility of those types of online presentations again.

We just posted the April issue of the Garden Variety on the Events page of the Garden Spot Village website. At this time what’s available is exclusively for residents but there is some interesting information. We plan to reopen the campus as soon we can.

This has been Endeavor – a monthly video update where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community at Garden Spot Village.

I’m Scott Miller and I’m looking forward to seeing you around campus and as I always say, regardless of the situation  . . . Life is Good!
