Hello and Welcome to Endeavor – a monthly update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities to live with purpose in community.

I’m Colleen Musselman, director of Life Enrichment. I’m pleased to join the Endeavor team, bringing you this monthly video. Thank you for watching Endeavor.

At Garden Spot Village it is our desire to be a part of the greater community. Building relationships is what we do. Partnerships with other non-profits just makes sense as we strive to Make-A-Difference and live with purpose. Together, we can lend a hand by serving lunch at Water Street Ministries, we can keep our hands busy by creating hats, scarves and mittens for the children of New Holland and we can collect food for the New Holland Food Pantry. There are so many ways to get involved and Make-A-Difference in our own community!

Speaking of reaching out to others, a brand new initiative has become a reality at Garden Spot. The Quilters community has partnered with Quilts of Valor to create a beautiful red, white and blue quilt. This warm, handmade quilt will be given to a deserving veteran who has been touched by war. This program has touched the hearts of many living at Garden Spot and we are thankful to participate in the Quilts of Valor Program.

To many, it is a gift to bless others with a meal. The Community Meal, a partnership between CrossNet Ministries and Garden Spot Village, provides a tasty full-course meal, once a month. The meals have recently been in a to-go format because of COVID, but we look forward to the time when we can once again enjoy fellowship with our food. Garden Spot Village residents and team members fund the meals through the Swipe-Out-Hunter initiative and also prep the meals each month.

Construction continues at Sycamore Springs and residents tell us they love snow days at Garden Spot because they don’t need to worry about clearing their driveways or sidewalks. If you are tired of snow removal, give us a call. We have a handful of homes available at Sycamore Springs with move-in dates in early 2021.

This has been Endeavor from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover abundant opportunities to live with purpose in community.

I’m Colleen Musselman and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
