June 2019 | Endeavor: Highlighting the Happenings at Garden Spot Village

Written by Juanita Fox

Hello and Welcome to Endeavor - Highlighting the Happenings of Garden Spot Village, where you will find abundant opportunities to live with purpose in community.

I’m Juanita Fox, the story teller at Garden Spot Village.
Today I’m in the Legacy Garden, one of our main outdoor gathering places. The Legacy Garden’s winding paths, water features, labyrinth and swings invite people to slow down and take time to build community. We have miles of walking paths on our campus and all paths eventually lead to the Legacy Garden.

Summer is nearly here and with it comes long evenings and an opportunity to make memories with the children in your life as they take a break from school. If you are a future resident and want to make lifetime memories with your grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the other children in your life, sign up for Grands & Kids Camp, our award-winning intergenerational camp, held the last full week in June. Or, stop by during our Train Room Open House on Saturday, June 29. Children of all ages will enjoy a visit to the Train Room.

Garden Spot Village is honored to support local arts. Each summer we support the New Holland Summer Arts Association, which provides free performances in the New Holland Park on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings in July and August. The series kicks off on the 4th of July with a performance by the New Holland Concert Band and fireworks.
June is full of opportunities at Garden Spot and you can find details for the events I mentioned earlier, plus everything else that is going on in the June Issue of the Garden Variety which we just posted on the events page of the website.

This has been Endeavor – Highlighting the Happenings of Garden Spot Village, where you will find Abundant Opportunities to Live with Purpose in Community.

I’m Juanita Fox and I hope to see you soon!
