May 2019 | Endeavor: Highlighting the Happenings at Garden Spot Village

Written by Scott Miller

Hello and Welcome to Endeavor - Highlighting the Happenings of Garden Spot Village, where you will find Abundant Opportunities to Live with Purpose in Community

We are outside at Sycamore Springs. You can see Sycamore Commons behind me. A lot of natural conversations take place as people come and go, especially during this time of year.

Things are getting more and more exciting because development is underway. The site plan, the floor plans and the pricing have been released.

If you’ve been following the progress you know that Sycamore Springs won national awards for its unique and innovative approach to community development and front porch living.

The great thing is—all of the input from the residents of Phase I—was taken into consideration to make it even better for you.

Deposits for new homes can be placed beginning May 1st, in other words, now!

The Amish Educational Series returns again in May. You hear directly from members of the Plain community as they share their perspectives during panel discussions. You get first hand insights into this local Lancaster County culture. This is an extremely popular series, often standing room only. You won’t want to miss it.

The Garden Spot Village, award-winning, weeklong, Grands & Kids camp, is open for sign up.

It’s open to residents, people on the radar screen and future residents. As I’ve said before, signing up as a future resident has its privileges.

Kids will love this year’s theme – SLIME – it stands for Sunshine, Laughter, Imagination, Memories and Explore!

This is an opportunity for quality time with your grandkids. It’s something they will fondly remember for a lifetime. Study-after-study continues to highlight the importance of the intergenerational connection between older adults and younger generations. Check the “Game On” page of our website for details.

Summer is rapidly approaching and there’s a lot happening at Garden Spot Village. We just posted the May issue of the Garden Variety on the events page of our website, where you can discover everything that is going on this month.

This has been Endeavor – Highlighting the Happenings of Garden Spot Village where you will find Abundant Opportunities to Live with Purpose in Community.

I’m Scott Miller and I hope to see you around campus and as I always say  . . . Life is Good!
