DESCRIPTION:Garden Spot Village supports local nonprofit organizations through Making a Difference Collections each month. Through August\, housewarming supplies for families transitioning from homelessness to home will be collected for Bridge of Hope. Bridge of Hope equips and engages Christian faith communities to respond to homelessness by fostering supportive\, neighboring relationships. \n\n\n\n\n\nSee the display outside the Welcome Center near the Apartment Suites Lobby for a complete list of items being collected and to drop off items.

DESCRIPTION:Grab some coffee and please join us for a monthly Memory Café\, hosted by Harry and Hazel Urban. This event is sponsored by Dementia Friendly Lancaster and will be held at 10am on the first Wednesday of each month. \n\n\n\n\n\nHarry is living purposefully with dementia. Hazel\, Harry’s wife\, models being a happy care partner. Our monthly gatherings will give us time socialize\, share our journeys and laugh together. We will also focus on how to live a happy\, purpose-filled life with a dementia diagnosis\, give you hope and encourage building new dreams together. \n\n\n\n\n\nAnyone living with a dementia diagnosis and their care partner is welcome to this inclusive event.
