Spark a Pro-Aging Revolution

Garden Spot Village is a significant catalyst for sociocultural transformation regarding aging—resulting in new language, new mindsets and new attitudes which are fully embraced by society. We reject can’t, shouldn’t and won’t because of age. Age is no longer seen as a liability but instead a reality that is leveraged in ways that improve the life of the individual, the wellbeing of communities and also benefits society.

Cultivate a Vibrant Community for Purposeful Living

At Garden Spot Village, we understand that a healthy organization is built on foundational values that benefit you.

Because our organization has a foundation based on a Christian heritage, you will find yourself in an inclusive and welcoming community.

This means that whether you are a staff member or a resident, you will be part of a vibrant environment that respects and embraces people from all faith traditions—and those with no faith tradition. We are committed to maintaining this heritage of openness.

For inspiration on how we can best live and work together, we look to the life and teachings of Jesus. By operating from this perspective, you will experience a community built on the principles of:

  • Abundance, not scarcity.
  • Trust, not control.
  • Love, not fear.

In short, we are committed to fostering an environment where you can thrive and experience a deeper sense of belonging.

Be Kind. Do Good. Show Love.

This is the guiding principle that shapes your experience here.

We believe that you deserve clarity on the behaviors that define our successful culture. Our guiding principle—the characteristics and qualities that articulate the desired behavior within our organization—is designed to be consistent with the culture you will experience and help create.

Here is what this principle means for you:

  • It guides your daily actions. Our guiding principle is a strongly held belief that is understood and embraced by every team member, influencing and guiding your behavior, actions, and decisions.
  • It assures person-centered care. We created this principle not just to define our culture, but because it emphasizes our commitment to delivering person-centered care for everyone you serve and interact with in our community.
  • It grounds your work. This principle complements and strengthens the long-standing values you uphold every day: excellence, innovation, integrity, service, stewardship, and community.

It’s more than just a motto—it’s how we live with purpose.
