The Village Square Apartments lead directly into Village Square—a vital hub of the Garden Spot Village community. This south-facing wing offers magnificent views of the countryside in Lancaster, PA and Welsh Mountain. The larger, luxury apartments at Village Square Apartments offer eastern and western views, with walk-out patios, spacious balconies or sunrooms. Walk-in closets and roomy bathrooms offer abundant storage. Floor plans at Village Square range in size from 1,300 square foot two-bedroom homes to 1,900 square foot three-bedroom homes. Centrally located on our campus residents are close to the Wood Shop, the Train Room, the Art Studio, Greenhouse, and more. Making it easy to stay social and active in the community by attending scheduled events or community church service.

What is the difference between a Type I & Type II apartment?

Type I features a patio/balcony off the Living Room. Located on ground and 1st floors.

Type II features a sunroom that is open to the Living Room. Located on 2nd to 5th floors.

The only exception is the Ellsworth II, which will always have a balcony.

You feel the positive atmosphere as soon as you enter campus. The grounds are picturesque and everyone is welcoming. Everyone is willing to lend a hand and help another person. We looked for a retirement community for over a year and when we found Garden Spot, it met all our criteria: facility, friends we knew and loved had already moved there, housing, a beautiful campus and a Christian community and orientation.
