Here are 10 of the best places to stop in Lancaster County for a delicious meal, fresh ingredients, or an afternoon treat!

Fox Meadows has some of the best ice cream in the area with tons of fun and unique flavors. Making all of their ice cream right at their creamery, Fox Meadows uses natural ingredients including fresh milk from their own cows. While you’re there, try their signature “Baked Fox” which is your choice of a hot pressed sweet outer shell (brownie, chocolate chip cookie, monkey bread, or rice crispy) with any one of their ice cream flavors.

Sunnyside Pastries is an Amish owned and operated bakery that features delicious fresh baked goods. Famous for their homemade donuts and pies, Sunnyside is a Lancaster County favorite! Stop by to try one of their 16 unique flavors of woopie pies including red velvet, chocolate chip mint, molasses, and more!

Achenbach’s Pastries. Known as the home of the Long John, Achenbach’s Pastries is another favorite in Lancaster County. Stop by to try their delicious pastries, breads, pies, and cakes. It isn’t a visit to Achenbach’s without trying their famous Long Johns!

Stop by Summer Set Farm Market on Railroad Avenue, New Holland, for their wide selection of fresh home grown produce. They are open seasonally, from May through November. This is the perfect place to get the freshest ingredients for your next meal!

Twin Valley Coffee If you love coffee, then Twin Valley Coffee is a must try! Known for their signature “Iced Toddy,” Twin Valley draws crowds from all over the county just to get a sip of their premium roasted coffee.

Visit Rachel’s Creperie in Lancaster City to try one of their famous crepes! Rachel’s has delicious crepe options for every meal. Try their delicious Dulce De Leche dessert crepe with milk caramel spread or one of their regularly updated crepe specials which never disappoint.

Village Farm Market. Stop by this small sandwich shop where you can have them create your own delicious sandwich or try one of their specialty sandwiches like the Turkey Bacon Ranch hot sub! While you are there, enjoy their fresh baked goods and beautiful fruit trays.

La Borimex This small restaurant is a hidden gem in Lancaster County. La Borimex, in Hinkletown, serves authentic Mexican food that is sure not to disappoint! Fan favorites include the Enchilada Supreme and Carne Asada platters.

September Farm serves more than just they’re well-known and loved cheeses, but they also have a small market and sandwich shop! Explore the beautiful store full of homemade and local products while you wait for your food. During the summer months enjoy eating outside on their gorgeous patio. Boehringer’s is a local favorite over the spring and summer months featuring excellent homemade ice cream and delicious sandwiches.
