Residents of Mountain View Personal Care at Garden Spot Village flex their culinary muscles in every Friday. In May they took part in a pizza-making session. The event was organized by Life Enrichment Coordinator Jojo Feo and attended by members of the Culinary Creations micro-community and the Men’s Fellowship hour. The group gathered in the Harvest Table to learn how to make their own pizzas from scratch, led by Executive Chef Mike and Chef Manager Richard.

The residents had the opportunity to make their own dough and sauce, then choose from a variety of toppings to create their personal pizzas. Once the pizzas were assembled, they were baked in the Harvest Table’s stone hearth oven. The event was a fun way for residents to learn new culinary skills and socialize with one another.

The Culinary Creations community meets every Friday in Mountain View Personal Care, offering residents a chance to explore new recipes and connect with one another over shared interests. The group is just one example of the many ways that residents at Garden Spot Village live with purpose in community.

Garden Spot Village is more than just a place to retire – it’s a dynamic community where residents can thrive in every sense of the word. The pizza-making event at Mountain View Personal Care is just one example of the many opportunities for socialization, learning, and growth that this community has to offer. Whether you’re a foodie, a fitness enthusiast, or simply someone looking to connect with like-minded individuals, Garden Spot Village is the perfect place to call home.
