Outdoor concerts are a summer tradition in Lancaster County. Garden Spot Village is honored to be a sponsor for outdoor community concerts this summer. We will sponsor the Sunday, August 17 concert by Harrisburg Jazz Collective at Longs Park in Lancaster. Through the summer we’ve been honored to sponsor the Entertainment in the Park at New Holland Memorial Park.
We are now taking reservations for the Autumn Soiree, set for Saturday, September 13 at 5pm. This annual event, which benefits the Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund, features an evening of music, story and imagination. The Gretna Theater will provide music and a vocal cabaret. Garden Spot Communities recently announced The Exchange. This active 55-plus lifestyle community on the Riverfront in Harrisburg is set to open in 2026. To learn more and stay up-to-date on the development of the renovation of this historic building into 39 apartments, visit TheExchangeHarrisburg.org and join our email list.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 18, when we will host Explore Retirement Living. This county-wide event includes open houses at 17 participating Lancaster County non-profit continuing care retirement communities. You do not need to RSVP for this event, but if you register at gardenspotvillage.org/visit, we will send you information about homes that will be open to the public that day.
