Garden Spot Village Eliminates Trip Planning Stress
Written by Scott Miller
Some people love to plan trips and for them it’s a treat. For probably a vast number of others it’s a nightmare. If you’ve ever planned a trip you know how complex and irritating it can be. There are countless decisions to be made: best time to go, where to visit, where to park, where to stay, where to eat, and etc. One of the cool things about a retirement community is that you effectively get a concierge, although they may not be called this. Someone else plans the trip and your only responsibility is to enjoy yourself.
Garden Spot Village offers a variety of day and extended stay trips. On Wednesday, August 28th, Garden Spot Village is hosting a trip to NOAH at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Strasburg. The cost includes the ticket and transportation. In a few weeks, on September 12th, Garden Spot Village residents will take a trip to Baltimore. Residents have the opportunity to join this excursion that includes round-trip Elite Coach transportation, admission to the Baltimore Aquarium, and lunch at Phillips Seafood. There will be plenty of time to explore the Inner Harbor, shop, enjoy a boat ride, or sightsee in the area. If you’re one of those many people who dislikes navigating unfamiliar cities, trips like this give you the opportunity to visit interesting places while someone else sweats the details. Whether it’s the National Watch and Clock Museum in Lancaster, a Broadway show, or Baltimore Harbor - when it comes to exploring local and regional places of interest Garden Spot Village makes it easy to get out and go!
