Hello and welcome to Endeavor, a monthly video update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Kelly Sweigart, Sales Director. Thank you for joining me this month for Endeavor. Today I’m at Sight and Sound Theatre. Keep watching to learn why!
October is full of events at Garden Spot Village!
First, the Garden Spot Village Concert Series welcomes Pianist Todd Derstine on Sunday, October 11 at 7pm. Todd has dedicated his career to creating emotional, memory evoking musical experiences, specializing in music primarily from the 1930s through the 1950s.
Next, we invite you to join us for a virtual Discover Sycamore Springs Expansion session. On Thursday, October 15, at 10:30 am, we’ll host an online informational session where you can learn more about this new project and the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community. RSVP to join us at Sycamore Spring.org/discover.
You won’t want to miss Explore Retirement Living on Saturday, October 17, from 10 am to 3 pm. Garden Spot Village is part of this county wide event, hosted by 17 continuing care retirement communities, which gives the opportunity to explore multiple communities in one day. While you’re here, you can enter to win our door prize, tickets to Sight and Sound Theatre. Registration is not required. However, if you RSVP at gardenspotvillage.org/visit, we’ll send you the list of homes available to tour before the event.
Later in the month, the New Holland Area Historical Society presents “New Holland at 300!” on Wednesday, October 22, from 7 to 8 pm. What did our area look like when the first wave of settlers arrived in 1728? Join us to find out, with a question and answer session to follow. The Historical Society offers these educational programs monthly at Garden Spot Village.
