Hello and welcome to Endeavor, a monthly video update from Garden Spot Village, where you will discover the abundant opportunities you have to live with purpose in community.
I’m Ricsh Minford, New Resident Navigator. Thank you for joining us this month for Endeavor.
November is filled with opportunities to learn something new and connect with friends and neighbors!
Next, on Thursday, November 12 at 2 pm, the Linden Store will present “Cozy Winter Days: Everyday Fashion for the Season” in the Chapel. Enjoy a fashion show featuring comfortable winter apparel, from cozy sweaters to stylish wraps. You can also get a head start on your holiday shopping with a special gift preview featuring Artisans Corner, Share & Care and Linden.
If you’re exploring your retirement living options, we still have space available for our in-person Discover Sycamore Springs session on Wednesday, November 18 at 10:30am. Learn about the exciting expansion of our Sycamore Springs neighborhood, enjoy lunch and take a tour of the Garden Spot Village campus. If you can’t join us in November, we will also offer a virtual Discover Sycamore Springs session on Wednesday, December 9. To register for either session, visit gardenspotvillage.org/visit.
Starting Saturday, November 28, and continuing every Saturday through December 19, the Garden Spot Village Train Room will host its Open House from 1:30 to 4pm. Train enthusiasts of all ages are invited to explore the detailed model railroad displays and enjoy an afternoon discovering the wonderful world of model trains.
And don’t forget to save the date for one of our favorite holiday traditions! The Village Christmas Market returns on Saturday, December 5, from 10am to 3pm. Bring your family and friends to Garden Spot Village for a festive day of shopping, entertainment, delicious food and visits to our Train Room. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season together!
