DayBreak at Garden Spot Village is a day program allowing you to experience the amenities of Garden Spot Village by the day.

Golden Hours by DayBreak

If you’re looking for an afternoon experience with a small group of like-minded individuals, where you can explore new skills, impact your community through volunteering and build beautiful memories through learning journeys with your neighbors. Golden hours from DayBreak are for you!

Offered 1:30 – 5 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Golden Hours will be limited to a small group, which will explore a new project every six weeks. Past themes have included beekeeping, theater, woodworking, creativity and more!

Spots are limited, so sign up soon to join this group pursuing purposeful living in community!

Live with Opportunity

Formerly Adult Day Services, DayBreak at Garden Spot Village offers a comprehensive day program. Participants of DayBreak need supportive care throughout the day for a variety of reasons. Daybreak’s full time program assistants are trained to provide quality support for those with cognitive and/or physical impairment. Our program is full of opportunities to thrive!

Live with Purpose

We firmly believe routine is an important component of a participant’s ability to assimilate into a program gracefully. DayBreak designs a daily schedule to encourage participants to engage in purposeful activity either independently or with peers. Quarterly, participants and staff work together to evaluate scheduled activities and plan for the upcoming season.

Live with Community

DayBreak strives to combat loneliness and isolation, which is a reality in the community we serve.

DayBreak is a catalyst for building relationships by offering support groups to participants and family members. Staff will work one-on-one with participants to offer support and engagement, and will encourage connections with the greater community. The director, who is a certified dementia practitioner, will develop an Individual care plan specifically designed to create opportunities to live with purpose.

Start Living With Purpose

Step 1 – Schedule a Tour/Intake
- See our space and let our staff get to know you and your loved one through an interview that will help us to understand their needs.
Step 2 – Medical Form
- Have a physical and TB test completed by their primary care physician. Print off the form here.
Step 3 – Enrollment
- Complete the process by signing a few forms and understanding our handbook. Your loved one can start the next day!
