A Day in the Life

“No doubt, it’s been a good day,” says Bob Hess after spending a day with this granddaughter, Emily.

Making time for family—especially their grandchildren—is a priority for Bob and Rosey Hess. Their spacious home in the Sycamore Springs neighborhood at Garden Spot Village provides a perfect space to host, with easy access to all the things children enjoy: a train room, made-to-order wood-fired pizza, ice cream, a movie theater, a library and more!

Garden Spot’s kid-friendly community makes intergenerational memories easy to make.

“Our grandkids love to visit. The house and community have a bit of a fantasyland feel to them,” Bob Hess says. Bob and his wife, Rosey, moved to the Sycamore Springs neighborhood at Garden Spot Village in June 2020. The pathways around their neighborhood allow for kid-friendly walks and the stream next to their home is a definite attraction, Rosey says. “The boys love to look for frogs in the creek. And, they are fascinated with our second floor. We keep toys in the spare bedroom upstairs and we have a short hallway where they love to create their own special space by closing all of the adjoining doors.”

The best way to experience our community is to visit! If you want to visit informally, we offer a variety of events that are open to the public. Or, you can stop by one and have coffee at Refresh Coffee Bar or lunch at The Harvest Table.

If you are interested in a tour of our community, we can schedule a meeting with our sales team and arrange a resident tour guide to share how Garden Spot Village provides abundant opportunities to live with purpose in community.

Personalized Healthcare

With a continuum of care, Garden Spot Village offers healthcare that is appropriate for you! Our Home and Community Based Services includes DayBreak at Garden Spot Village, Garden Spot Village at Home, a walk-in health clinic and an end-of-life doula. Each of these offerings helps to keep you living independent longer!

If you need additional support, Garden Spot Village offers Meadow View Memory Support, Mountain View Personal Care and four skilled nursing households for short term rehab or long-term care.

Informational Sessions

Join us for an informational session where you will learn firsthand about the welcoming way of life at Garden Spot Village! The informational session will be followed by a delicious lunch with Garden Spot Village residents and a walking tour of our campus.

Interestingly, 85% of those who live here were actually referred by other residents. We believe that’s a great way to build a community, and encourage friendships that last.
