I’m Scott Miller, the Chief Marketing Officer. Thank you for joining us this month for Endeavor.
If you’ve spent any time with Garden Spot Village you know excellence is one of our core values and we like to do things right. We started working on a podcast series a year ago! It was an amazing learning journey. Producing a high quality podcast is unbelievably challenging. We released Garden Spot Communities Presents: Retire with Purpose in February. There are 6 episodes that release on Mondays through March 16th. This first series features Garden Spot residents who debunk retirement myths as they share their real life experiences and some of the challenges they faced. You can find the podcast on iTunes and Spotify as well as our website.
The new houses at Sycamore Springs have created a lot of excitement. Thirty three of the 50 are spoken for and construction is well on its way. If you like a little more space we have a beautiful home that is available immediately and the others have construction completion dates. If you’re a planner and like definitive timeframes not only the houses but the clear timeframes will appeal to you. Give us a call for details.
As far as we know we’re the only retirement community in the U.S. to host a Half Marathon. It’s events like this that speak to the vibrancy of Garden Spot Village. Our Half Marathon & 10K is March 28th and unlike most running events you can register the day of the race. The Kids Half Marathon is Friday March 27th. If you’re a runner we’d love for you to run with us or if you know a runner send them our way and come cheer them on. This is always a high energy exciting day.
